Stavvy gives
Stuart Cable a drumming lesson on the 'Dancemobile.
The picture above is of WarDance drummer Stavros
trying to teach ex-Stereophonics sticksman the drum pattern for AC/DC's
'Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap'.
Stuart Cable was Guest of Honour at a charidee gig the 'Dance played in
Bridgend back in January. Word got to the band that the mop-topped
drummer and TV presenter was up for doing a song at some stage and as
WarDance were the only true hard rock band on the bill, Cable was
apparently keen to have a bash.
Cable is apparently an AC/DC fan and chose Dirty Deeds from the band's
setlist. However, it transpired that he only sort of knew how the song
went, which is rather astonishing for somebody who claims to be an
AC/DC fan. I guess by 'fan' it means he owns a CD of Back in Black. So
it was down to Stav to re-educate him outside the venue using the side
of the band's van.
It was all a waste of time because Cable sneaked off long before
WarDance's set. Word has it that his mam had his tea ready.
